Windows 10 or Windows 11: Which is the Best OS for Gamers?-GAMES sport

The latest version of Windows has been released, but what are the benefits of upgrading to Windows 11 if you’re a gamer? The short answer? There aren’t many, so sticking with Windows 10 might be your best bet. Here’s why...

Hardware Support

The two current versions of Windows are great choices for gamers. That said, if you’re a gamer on a tight budget, you might want to consider an older model. This isn’t as big of an issue today as it used to be, since games are now released on PC in three different tiers: PC, Xbox One and PS4 or PS5. However, not all games will support all platforms. As such, it’s important to make sure your hardware can handle whatever platform you choose.

Software Support for Windows 10 and Windows 11

Microsoft has announced that it will provide free support for both Windows 10 and Windows 11, until 2027. The company also released updated system requirements for its next-generation operating system, requiring a minimum of a 64-bit 1GHz processor and 4GB of RAM. However, Microsoft has yet to announce whether it will provide software updates beyond that time period.

Gaming Platforms in Both windows 10 and Windows 11

The modern operating systems of both windows 10 and windows 11 have a wide variety of platforms available to gamers. Both platforms allow users to run a variety of different games on them including but not limited to; Resident Evil 7,2,3,Village, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Rise of The Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider ,Forza Motorsport 6 Apex, Forza Horizon 5 ,Halo 5 Guardians and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. In addition to these games, there are also many other popular titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Dark Souls III, Battlefield V and Titanfall 2 that can be played using either Windows 10 or Windows 11. Both platforms allow players to stream their gameplay live using services such as Twitch TV and Mixer.

Overall Recommendation

An easy way to think about which operating system you should use is to first consider your needs as a gamer. If all you’re doing is playing games and need an operating system that allows you to do so, then I’d recommend choosing between Windows 10 and Windows 11. if your using windows 10, I think don't need to upgrade if your a gamer
